POWER Workshop: Communicate So They Understand You
November 8 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Did you know that everyone you meet in your personal or professional life needs something different from you when it comes to communication? Whether they prefer to get to the point, need all the facts, like to start with small talk, or want more collaboration; if you don’t understand them, they may not connect with you, and it can open the door for misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and conflict.
Our communication preferences and styles are largely determined by our unique personalities and strengths; once you learn to identify and understand your own tendencies, you can then learn to do the same for others. This allows you to communicate in a way that truly connects with your audience in a “language” they can understand.
During this workshop, you will
- Get an introduction to the different personality themes and how they prefer to communicate
- Learn your own personality style
- Think through how you can adapt your communication style to better connect with those around you
Natalie Fox, founder of Positive Ripples Coaching, is passionate about helping business owners and leaders create healthy and happy workplaces that inspire people to be their best.
She has always had a curious mind and loves growing and developing herself. Still, the more she learned about herself and who she wanted to be, the better she understood how she could use her talents, education, and experience to participate in something bigger by helping others grow and develop too. In addition to her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, Natalie spent 15 years working in business management and human resources before starting her own company as a Business and Leadership Coach. She has since become certified with the Maxwell Leadership Team, DISC, Gallup’s CliftonStrengths, and Motivation by Appreciation. She is also working toward her International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification.
While technically a Pennsylvania native, Natalie has lived and worked in various places across the States. She most recently returned to Lewisburg from Colorado Springs, CO, to be closer to her family and mentor and start her business. She actively participates in several local networks, including the GSV Business Exchange BNI chapter, 1 Million Cups, the Women’s Leadership Committee through the GSV Chamber of Commerce,
StartUp Lewisburg with the SBDC, and Buffalo Community Church.
When she’s not helping others develop themselves and their teams, Natalie enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, eating good food, and trying to play with her grumpy cat, Penny, whose only true joy comes from tuna, string, cardboard boxes, and heated blankets.
At Positive Ripples Coaching, our vision is to create a world where every person works in a positive and healthy environment doing what they were created to do.
Our services help business owners and their leadership teams discover and carry out long-term solutions to everyday challenges. Through strengths-based coaching, we inspire and support business leaders as they better understand themselves, reach their goals, build their teams, and serve their communities.
We work with our clients to create positive results; results that ripple throughout their businesses, families, and communities to change the world.
